OUR STORY
We are Rachel and Nick Jacobs, co-owners of Spring Soon Farms. We are a family operated farm specializing in growing cut flowers. We love sharing bouquets and produce from our garden with you.
HOW WE GOT HERE
When we moved to our old farmhouse in Maine, we instantly felt more in touch with nature. Several years later, we’re a bit more “in touch” than we thought we’d ever be! We joked that we’d be inside all year, but during every season, our homestead brings us outside every day. We started growing our own food over the summer. Then we fixed up a greenhouse, which was already on the property to extend our growing season (Southerners in the north can’t wait until August for a tomato!). We got chickens and moved to all organic. And in 2022, we started a farm stand to share what we can grow with our neighbors. Eating local, growing sustainably – what’s good for the planet has been good for our souls.
The days can get pretty short, and it sure is cold… but our little slice of Earth is perfect.
